摘要: | In our work, a methodology of systematic design with chaotic masking-based
secure communications is presented to implement double encryption. Chaotic
synchronization has encountered attacks by hackers in which attackers
demodulate information through the public channel, and the safety of chaotic
synchronization communication has thus been questioned in recent years. To
block the attacks by hackers, this study combines chaotic synchronization with
a Twofish encryption algorithm, thereby increasing the complexity of the cryptosystem.
By doing so, a more secure communication system is achieved to
efficaciously protect the ciphertext. Furthermore, the IGA is proposed in this
study to effectively overcome the weakness of the traditional GA. The IGAbased
fuzzy controller not only realizes the exponential synchronization, but
also minimizes the disturbance attenuation level to achieve optimal H∞ performance.
Finally, we give a numerical example to show the achievements of this
study. |

摘要: | The triple data encryption standard (3DES) has played a key role in the field of data encryption
over the past few decades. However, the ciphertexts security is decreased by the meet-in-the-middle attack.
Accordingly, we propose a systematic design methodology combining chaotic synchronization with 3DES
to conduct double encryption. The encryption method not only increases the strength of the communications
system but also effectively protects the encrypted message (ciphertext). The conventional genetic algorithm
(GA) has flaws in premature convergence and local search. While the methods of improving the GA
performance have been explored, we adopted an improved genetic algorithm (IGA) in this work due to
its better performance in the light of globalization and convergence rate. The IGA-based observer not
only realizes the exponential synchronization but also minimizes the disturbance attenuation level to get
optimal H∞ performance simultaneously. In the end, an example with numerical simulations is provided to
demonstrate the effectiveness of this study. |

摘要: | In this work, we present a methodology of systematic design of an improved
genetic algorithm (IGA)-based secure communication in multiple time-delay
chaotic (MTDC) systems with advanced encryption standard (AES) and optimal
H∞ performance. To hide the message contents via chaotic signals, various
approaches have been developed. Nevertheless, the attacks proposed in
many studies have demonstrated that most of these approaches are not
secure or have a low security. Therefore, in order to enhance the overall
security, this work endeavors to combine chaotic synchronization with AES
algorithm. The encryption method not only increases the strength of the
communications system, but effectively protects the encrypted message as
well. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the achievements of
this study. |

摘要: | A novel approach is proposed in this study to stabilize nonlinear multiple
time-delay (NMTD) large-scale systems via a composite of fuzzy controllers
and dithers. Moreover, a delay-dependent stability criterion is derived from
Lyapunovs direct method. According to this criterion and the decentralized
control scheme, a set of model-based fuzzy controllers is synthesized to stabilize
the NMTD large-scale system and the H∞ control performance is achieved
at the same time. If the designed fuzzy controllers cannot stabilize the NMTD
large-scale system, a set of dithers (as the auxiliaries of fuzzy controllers) is
simultaneously introduced to stabilize the NMTD large-scale system. Finally,
a numerical example with simulations is provided to illustrate the concepts
discussed throughout this paper. |

摘要: | In order to obtain double encryption via elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) and chaotic synchronisation, this
study presents a design methodology for neural-network (NN)-based secure communications in multiple
time-delay chaotic systems. ECC is an asymmetric encryption and its strength is based on the difficulty of
solving the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem which is a much harder problem than factoring integers.
Because it is much harder, we can get away with fewer bits to provide the same level of security. To
enhance the strength of the cryptosystem, we conduct double encryption that combines chaotic synchronisation
with ECC. According to the improved genetic algorithm, a fuzzy controller is synthesised to realise the
exponential synchronisation and achieves optimal H performance by minimising the disturbances attenuation
level. Finally, a numerical example with simulations is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the
proposed approach. |

摘要: | Chaotic synchronization has suffered from demodulating information by hackers via the public channel. Different methods have been developed to hide the contents of a message using chaotic signals. Nevertheless, many studies have shown that most of the existing methods are unreliable in the aspect of security. According to the above, in order to enhance the strength of the cryptosys- tem and provide greater security, we carry out double encryption which combines chaotic synchronization with RSA algorithm. In this study, a design methodology for neural-network (NN)-based secure communications in multiple time-delay chaotic (MTDC) systems is proposed to obtain double encryption via RSA algorithm and chaotic synchronization. RSA algorithm is an asymmetric encryption and its strength is based on the tremendous difficulty of factorizing two large prime numbers. Accordingly, it takes much more time to process RSA algorithm if the length of the key is much longer. A shorter key is used to decrease the process- ing time of RSA algorithm in this work. Nevertheless, it will result in a lower security of the cryptosystem. In order to enhance the strength of the cryptosystem, we carry out double encryption which combines chaotic synchronization with RSA algorithm. Moreover, an IGA is proposed in this study to effectively overcome the weakness of the traditional GA. On the basis of the IGA,
a fuzzy controller is synthesized to not only realize the exponential synchronization, but also achieve optimal H ∞ performance by
minimizing the disturbances attenuation level. Finally, a numerical example with simulations is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our approach.

摘要: | A novel approach is proposed in this study to eliminate the chaotic motion by a fuzzy controller and an appropriate dither. First, a back-propagation (BP) neural-network (NN) model is used to approximate the multiple time-delay chaotic system. Then, a linear differential inclusion (LDI) state-space representation is established for the dynamics of the NN model. Based on the LDI state-space representation, this study proposes a delay-dependent stability criterion derived in terms of Lyapunov’s direct method to guarantee that the trajectories of the multiple time-delay chaotic (MTDC) system under fuzzy control can be steered into a periodic orbit. Subsequently, the stability condition of this criterion is reformulated into a linear matrix inequality (LMI). According to the LMI, a fuzzy controller is then synthesized to tame the multiple time-delay chaotic (MTDC) system. If the fuzzy controller cannot suppress the chaos, a high frequency signal, commonly called dither, is simultaneously injected to eliminate the chaotic motion by regulating the dither’s parameters. If the frequency of dither is high enough, the trajectories of the dithered chaotic system and its corresponding mathematical model-the relaxed system can be made as close as desired. This make it possible to obtain a rigorous prediction of the dithered chaotic system’s behavior by establishing the relaxed system. Finally, this study provides a numerical example of the Chen’s chaotic system with simulations to illustrate the concepts discussed throughout this paper.

摘要: | In this study, a novel approach via GA-based fuzzy control is proposed to realize the exponential optimal Hœ synchronisation of MTDC systems. A robustness design of model-based fuzzy control is first presented to overcome the effect of modelling errors between the MTDC systems and T-S fuzzy models. Next, a delay- dependent exponential stability criterion is derived in terms of Lyapunov’s direct method to guarantee that the trajectories of the slave system can approach those of the master system. Subsequently, the stability conditions of this criterion are reformulated into LMIs. According to the LMIs, a fuzzy controller is then syn- thesised to exponentially stabilise the error systems. Moreover, the capability of GA in random search for near-optimal solutions, the lower and upper bounds of the search space based on the feedback gains via LMI approach can be set so that the GA will seek better feedback gains of fuzzy controllers to speed up the synchronisation. Additionally, an IGA was proposed to overcome both the shortcomings of premature con- vergence of GA and local search. According to the IGA, a fuzzy controller is synthesised not only to realise the exponential synchronisation but also to achieve the optimal Hœ performance by minimising the distur-bance attenuation level.

realise exponential optimal H synchronisation and secure communication in multiple time-delay chaotic
(MTDC) systems. First, an original message is inserted into the MTDC system. Then, a neural-network (NN)
model is employed to approximate the MTDC system. Next, a linear differential inclusion (LDI) state-space
representation is established for the dynamics of the NN model. Based on this LDI state-space representation,
this study proposes a delay-dependent exponential stability criterion derived in terms of Lyapunov’s
direct method, thus ensuring that the trajectories of the slave system approach those of the master system.
Subsequently, the stability condition of this criterion is reformulated into a linear matrix inequality (LMI).
Due toGA’s random global optimisation search capabilities, the lower and upper bounds of the search space
can be set so that the GA will seek better fuzzy observer feedback gains, accelerating feedback gain-based
synchronisation via the LMI-based approach. IGA, which exhibits better performance than traditional GA,
is used to synthesise a fuzzy observer to not only realise the exponential synchronisation, but also achieve
optimal H performance by minimizing the disturbance attenuation level and recovering the transmitted
message. Finally, a numerical example with simulations is given in order to demonstrate the effectiveness
of our approach.

If the designed fuzzy controllers cannot stabilize the nonlinear large-scale system, a batch of dithers (as the auxiliaries of fuzzy controllers) is simultaneously introduced to stabilize the nonlinear large-scale system. The injection of high-frequency signals, commonly called dithers, into nonlinear systems may improve their performance. If the frequencies of the dithers are high enough, the outputs of the dithered large-scale system and those of its corresponding mathematical model—the relaxed large-scale system can be made as close as desired. 摘要: | In this study, a combining scheme of fuzzy controllers and dithers via NN-based approach was proposed to tame the chaotic system. In terms of Lyapunov*s direct method, a stability criterion was derived to guarantee that the trajectory described by the chaotic system under fuzzy control can be steered into a periodic orbit or a steady state. 摘要: | This study presents a design methodology for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models-based secure communications in multiple time-delay chaotic (MTDC) systems with Rivest cipher 4 (RC4) algorithm. The main advantage of the RC4 algorithm is that the key length does not affect the encryption and decryption speeds. To block a hacker from stealing a message, this study proposes increasing the complexity of an encrypted message (ciphertext) using a method of double encryption using the RC4 algorithm and chaotic masking. As a result, this more secure communications system can effectively defend the encrypted message (ciphertext). First, the RC4 algorithm and a key are used to encrypt the initial message (plaintext). To enhance security, the encrypted message (ciphertext) is then converted into an encrypted signal, which is a double encryption using chaotic masking. Additionally, an improved genetic algorithm (IGA) is adopted in this study, it can seek better feedback gains of fuzzy controllers to speed up the synchronization. In accordance with the IGA, a model-based fuzzy controller is synthesized to exponentially stabilize the error systems so that the trajectories of the slave systems can approach those of the master systems. Finally, a numerical example with simulations is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |

摘要: | This study is concerned with the synchronization problem for a class of chaotic systems with multiple time-delays and transmitted noise. A dynamic compensator is proposed to achieve the synchronization between master and slave chaotic systems with multiple time-delays. First, the neural-network (NN) model is employed to approximate the chaotic systems with multiple time delays. Then, a linear differential inclusion (LDI) state-space representation is established for the dynamics of the NN model. Based on the LDI state-space representation, an exponential stability criterion of error dynamics derived in terms of Lyapunov’s direct method is proposed to ensure that the trajectories of the slave system can approach those of master system. Subsequently, the stability condition of this criterion is reformulated into a linear matrix inequality (LMI). Based on the LMI, a fuzzy controller is synthesized to realize the exponential synchronization of the chaotic master-slave systems. Finally, this study provides a numerical example with simulations is given to illustrate the concepts discussed throughout this work. |
