摘要This study focuses on how to design teaching materials of words with Chinese for children. The participants are children from kindergarten and elementary school, parts of whom are plagued with learning disabilities. This study is divided into training and testing steps. The training step allows researchers to develop a Chinese unit course. In the testing step, children use the Chinese teaching materials as an assistive technology. Different needs from children with learnin g disabilities are important, so in this study it design customer-made teaching materials. The purpose of the study is to explicate why the design worked well and how it can be improved on different case study. This study applies interface design of Chinese as assistive technology for children,which enables to improve the interactivity of teaching aid for children. The design of Chinese teaching materials offers both teachers and students a novel learning method.

摘要This research is focus on application of interactive activity for children with cerebral palsy. The application is a case for a child with cerebral palsy, this study used a simple infrared emitter that make the child can do interactive activities. In this implementation process, the child is interested of the interactive teaching materials, so she works hard to see the feedback and then make sure exercise the part of body. In this study, the research use the simple equipment of infrared emitter attached to the rehabilitative processes, the child can just move her body to control the interactive effect, the child could do the project in a easier method and complete rehabilitation work.

摘要This research is focus on application of hand-eye coordination of motion sensing for children with developmental disabilities. Based on the base technology of interactive technology, thereby bringing the children the experience of the interactive technology application. There are 2 demonstrations on this research. The equipments are actually applied on children with developmental disabilities, the research focus on using low-cost equipment, then the relative activities will be easy follow for children. In this research, the devices relied upon user-friendly design, reducing the working load. The projector will be presented other children to participate and share interactive content, extended deep Tablet PC application. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether training via interactive effect enhances the motivation of CP children. These findings suggest that training of sense of hand-eye coordination could help to increase the motivation of training for children with different needs.

摘要In this study, we employed Flash- and Scratch-based multimedia by using a MaKey–MaKey-based task system to increase the motivation level of children with cerebral palsy to perform physical activities. MaKey MaKey is a circuit board that converts physical touch to a digital signal, which is interpreted by a computer as a keyboard message. In this study, we used conductive materials to control this interaction. This study followed single-case design using ABAB models in which A indicated the baseline and B indicated the intervention. The experiment period comprised 1 month and a half. The experimental results demonstrated that in the case of two kindergarten children with cerebral palsy, their scores were considerably increased during the intervention phrases. The developmental applications of the results are also discussed

名稱1. Effects of interactive technology on home-based rehabilitation for chronic stroke patient

摘要This study aimed to apply low-cost interactive technology to home-based rehabilitation training for patients suffering from chronic stroke. It also focuses on discussing the results of the integration of interactive computer game training with home-based rehabilitation training in helping these patients. We conducted an experiment following the reversal design of single-subject research, in which a patient suffering with chronic stroke was given home-based rehabilitation training. In addition to interactive computer technology, the experiment also involved the adoption of a low-cost Wii Remote controller as an infrared receiver and a homemade infrared emitter supplemented by computer animation software to investigate the outcome of a home-based rehabilitation program. Data analysis is based on collection of points by the participant throughout the experiment and adopting visual analysis to discuss the outcome of interactive technology integrated with home-based rehabilitation. The results of this research show that the subject was able to stand on one leg for a few seconds longer than prior to the adoption of interactive technology integrated with home-based rehabilitation. Furthermore, parents of this patient and the therapists involved believe that the research and this innovative approach improved the patient’s performance in rehabilitation. The subject not only showed better motivation with regard to rehabilitation but also greater independence and enhanced capability of integrating into society.

摘要This study uses a body motion interactive game developed in Scratch 2.0 to enhance the body strength of children with disabilities. Scratch 2.0, using an augmented-reality function on a program platform, creates real world and virtual reality displays at the same time. This study uses a webcam integration that tracks movements and allows participants to interact physically with the project, to enhance the motivation of children with developmental disabilities to perform physical activities. This study follows a single-case research using an ABAB structure, in which A is the baseline and B is the intervention. The experimental period was 2 months. The experimental results demonstrated that the scores for 3 children with developmental disabilities increased considerably during the intervention phrases. The developmental applications of these results are also discussed.
