摘要  The longwave perturbation method is employed to investigate the hydromagnetic stability of a thin electricallyconductive pseudoplastic liquid film flowing down the surface of a vertical wall in a magnetic field.
The validity of the numerical results is improved through the introduction of the flow index and the magnetic force into the governing equation. In contrast to most previous studies presented in the literature, the solution scheme employed in this study is based on a numerical approximation approach rather than an analytical method. The normal mode approach is used to analyze the stability of the film flow. The modeling results reveal that the flow stability can be enhanced by increasing the intensity of the magnetic field and the flow index, respectively. In general, the instability state can be neutralized through an appropriate control of the applied magnetic field.

摘要  Due to the generators used in the smallscale wind powers must be characterized with high efficiency and low
cogging torque to meet the operation demands. However, above characteristics are conflicting. They are difficult
to approach a compromise for the optimal design. In order to serve the optimization problems with multiple
conflicting objectives, in this paper a novel method of integrating the Taguchi’s method and fuzzy inference
to optimize the parameter design is presented. The CAD simulator, RMxprt, is used to aid the design and
numerical analysis. Besides, a real permanentmagnet synchronous generator unit is implemented to confirm
the effectiveness of the proposed method.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to obtain the heat transfer phenomena of biotissue by the external heating. The molecular dynamics (MD) algorithm and the GROMACS protein data bank are used to analyze the bioheat transfer
characteristics of Alanine molecules in the microscale. The simulations focus specifically on the temperature evolution and thermal conductivity of the Alanine molecules under different kinds of thermal boundary conditions. The thermal conductivity of the Alanine molecule is calculated via the autocorrelation function of the GreenKubo formalism. Overall, the results
presented in this study provide a useful source of
reference for improving the efficacy of thermal ablation and the phenomena of the microscale hyperthermia.

摘要  This paper aims at investigating the heat transfer phenomena of the platefin heat sinks under impinging jet cooling. The impinging jet cooling has the advantage of larger heat removal. The finite element method is used to simulate the heat transfer phenomena of the platefin
heat sinks under impinging jet cooling. The simulation results are verified by comparing with the experimental data. The parameters discussed in this study include the fin size, the Reynolds number and the impingement distance. The results of this study show that the effect of Reynolds number dominates to the heat removal. The heat removal increases with the Reynolds number obviously. In addition, the temperature profile on the fin surface is affected by the arrangement of the fin.

名稱  Inverse Estimation of Unknown Heat Flux Boundary with Irregular Shape Fins

摘要  The purpose of this study is to estimate the unknown heat flux boundary conditions on the irregular shape fins for expanding the application of the inverse method. An inverse algorithm based on the sequential method and the concept of future time combined with the finite element package is used
to determine the 2D irregular shape heat conduction problems. Special features about the proposed method are that the stiffness matrix of the irregular shape can be solved from the finite element package. The estimated results are considered under the different kinds of fin types, the future time, the sensor’s location, the sensor’s number, the measured errors and the function of heat flux boundary. These estimated results are agreed with the exact solution even in the irregular shape fin. The results of this study show that this proposed method is an accurate, stable, and efficient method for solving the realistic engineering heat conduction problems.

摘要  This paper proposes an original idea to minimize heat concentrations of highpower lightemitting diode (LED)
arrays. The purpose of this paper is to investigate temperature distribution with and without an optimal process of highpower LED arrays by experiment and a numerical method in order to achieve an optimal design of LED arrays for thermal management. This paper develops an effective method to design each LED position for decreasing thermal concentrations in highpower LED
arrays. In this paper, temperature profiles are measured by a thermal infrared camera and a thermocouple and compared with simulated results under different power. The optimal method is adopted by a simplified conjugate gradient method combined with a finiteelement method. This method proves reliability of simulated results in advance. Through this optimal method, efficiency of heat removal will be enforced as an extra cooling device is added. The important part is that this optimal design will not affect brightness through an illumination analysis.

摘要  The aim of this article attempts to explore the optimal design of the high power LED package related the thermal
characteristics. To achieve the optimal design of the size of the slug inside the LED package is our purpose to
improve the heat removal. The simplified conjugategradient method (SCGM) is adopted to combine with the
finite element method to optimize the shape of the slug inside the LED package. The results show that the shape of the slug changing directly affects the temperature profile inside the LED. The heat generated from die
of the LED can be removed more by the change of the slug. It is obvious that the proposed method is effective on thermal optimization of the LED package. This proposed method may give rise to a new insight and more innovative possibilities in the development of the new generation LED.

摘要  電子元件的運算速度愈來愈快且體積越來越小，相對的在元件內所植入的電晶體之密度也愈來愈高，其所造成的晶片上單位面積的發熱量也愈大。因此電子冷卻成為重要的課題，其中衝擊噴流結合散熱片在電子散熱中有較高散熱效率，由於散熱片具有高熱傳導、散熱面積大、成本低等優點，再搭配衝擊噴流之強制對流所產生的高熱對流係數，可產生極佳的散熱效果。因此衝擊噴流結合散熱片的冷卻方式，具有快速、高效率和局部冷卻等優勢，更能在有限的空間內進行散熱。本文係探討高速噴流下冷卻於鰭片型散熱片的傳熱現象，利用有限元素法將模擬的結果與文獻之實驗進行比對，以驗證模擬結果之準確性，並針對衝擊噴流的雷諾數、鰭片幾何尺寸與噴嘴至鰭片距離的變化進行分析。

摘要  The influence of both the Rossby number and the Hartmann number on the hydromagnetic stability of a thin liquid film flowing down along the surface of a vertical ylinder is investigated. The longwave perturbation method is employed to solve for generalized nonlinear kinematic equations with a free film interface. The normal mode approach is used to compute the stability solution for the film flow. The modeling results indicate that the stability of the liquid film is enhanced by increasing the strength of the magnetic field or reducing the speed at which the cylinder rotates. By contrast, the flow becomes relatively more unstable as the cylinder radius is increased at larger values of the Rossby number. Notably, this finding is the opposite of that observed for film flows along a stationary vertical cylinder.

摘要  The effect of ZincOxide (ZnO) thin film annealed in different ambiences is presented. To achieve low cost and environmentally friendly process, ZnO aqueous solution is synthesized by dissolving zinc acetate dihydrate in deionized water directly. Zinc oxide aqueous solution of high solubility and stability is presented. High quality and dense Zinc oxide thin film is formed by spin coating. Annealing temperatures are in the range of 300 °C~500 °C, and annealing ambiences of both air and N2 are discussed.

名稱  The Optimization of the Thermal Response on the ZnO Pyroelectric Film Temperature Sensor

摘要  In a previous study, the present group designed and
fabricated ZnO thinfilm pyroelectric sensors with four different upper electrode configurations, namely rectangular, crisscross, target and web. However, the voltage response of the proposed devices was not formally analyzed. Accordingly, the present study commences by performing an experimental investigation to determine
the voltagetemperature transfer function for one of the
four electrode configurations (i.e., rectangular). An optimization algorithm based on the simplified conjugate gradient method (SCGM) and COMSOL finiteelement analysis software is then applied to establish the optimal geometry parameters of each of the four upper electrode configurations. It is shown that the optimized electrode designs improve the temperature variation rate of the four sensors by a minimum of 15%. As a result, the responsivity of the proposed devices is significantly improved.

摘要  The dualphaselag heat transfer model is applied to investigate the behavior of heat transfer in a perfused tissue with instantaneous surface heat flux. The lag times, Tq and Tt, are the characteristic of the dualphaselag model. A modified numerical scheme is used to solve the problem for exploring the effects of Tq and Tt on the bioheat transfer. The influence of blood perfusion rate on the thermal response in tissue is investigated. The deviations with the thermal wave model of bioheat transfer and the Pennes model are presented. The results show that the dualphaselag model of bioheat transfer can be reduced to the Pennes model not only if both phase lag times of the temperature gradient Tt and the heat flux Tq are zero. The total effect of Tq and Tt on the bioheat transfer may be different for the same Tt/Tq value.

摘要  This study is to obtain the optimal design of the heat removal of the 3D shellandtube heat exchanger (STHE) by
integrating multiphysics script based on the finite element method (FEM) with the simplified conjugategradient method (SCGM). A numerical investigation of the performance of a STHE considered the tube distance and array type is conducted. The objective function is to obtain the maximum quantities of temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of the heat exchanger. After determining the optimal shape size, this study evaluates the thermal performance of the heat exchanger by varying the quantities of heat removal and efficiency. In addition, we obtain the synthesis for all the advantages of this proposed method.

名稱  A Threedimensional Numerical Modeling of Thermoelectric Device with Consideration of Coupling of Temperature Field and Electric Potential Field

摘要  Thermoelectric devices (TEs) can achieve direct conversion of heat and electricity by semiconductor materials, coupling of heat transfer and electric conduction is important to accurately predict the
performance of TEs. This paper develops a general, threedimensional numerical model of TEs with consideration of coupling of temperature field and electric potential field. The model is used to figure out the performance of thermoelectric coolers (TECs) with the temperaturedependent thermal conductivity, electric conductivity, and Seebeck coefficient of semiconductor materials. A miniature TEC is considered and Bi2(Te0.94Se0.06)3 and (Bi0.25Sb0.75)Te3 are selected as the ntype and ptype thermoelectric materials, respectively. The effect of parameters such as the temperature difference and the current is investigated under conditions of variable material properties as well as radiation and convection heat transfer occurred between the TEC and the ambient gas. The results show that the variable properties and the heat losses to the ambient gas have significant effects on the cooling capacity and the coefficient of
performance (COP) of the TEC. Threedimensional temperature distributions within the semiconductors
is observed under convective boundary condition and it becomes remarkable at large temperature differences and high currents.

momentum of each molecule. The variation of the list is more apparent and rapid as the systems momentumincreasing through this study. Therefore, the list updated timing is realistic than the traditional Verlet neighbor list in the large momentum system, such as the nanoflow problem. It is applicable to construct the reasonable calculation and benefit to the improvement of MD’s calculation.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to optimize the design of the composite laminate vessel for minimizing the stress concentration. The optimum design of this study uses the
finite element method combined with the simplified conjugated gradient method (SCGM) to find the minimization of Von Mises stress of the vessel. In this study, the composite laminate vessel with the aluminum liner and the carbon fiber/epoxy layer are considered. The winding angle and the thickness of composite layer are proposed as the optimal design variables. Through this optimization, the best combination of the thickness and the winding angle of composite layer can be obtained to reach the minimum stress concentration.

名稱  The Innovated Flexible Surface Acoustic Wave Devices on Fully Inkjet Printing Technology

摘要  An innovated fabricated process of the flexible surface acoustic wave (SAW) device is proposed in this study. Fully inkjet printing and solgel technology are used in this fabricated process. The flexible SAW device is composed of a ZnO layer sandwiched in between a flexible polyimide plastic sheet and two sets of interdigital transducers layer. The material of the top interdigital transducer layer is nano silver. The ZnO solution is prepared by solgel technology. Both the ZnO and top interdigital transducer layers are deposited by inkjet printing. The fully inkjet printing process possesses the advantages of direct patterning and lowcost. It does not require photolithography and etching processes since the pattern is directly printed on the flexible sheet. The center frequency of this prototype is matched with the design frequency. The prototype
demonstrates that the presented flexible SAW device is available for the possible application in future. It may be applied to the sensing on curve surface

摘要  This study issues the improvement of the parameters of manufacturing on the flexible SAW device. The better piezoelectric characteristics of ZnO film will be obtained. The SolGel method is used to prepare the ZnO solution and deposits ZnO film by spin coating process. Xray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) are used to get the crystalline property. The results reveal that ZnO film possesses better crystalline property in 400RPM of spin speed. The piezoelectric intensity of (002) direction is 1566.67 (a.u.) and atomic morphology of ZnO film are exhibited by SEM image. This better ZnO film will enhance the wave propagation of surface acoustic wave (SAW) device. It can also expand the application of SAW device.

摘要  For the passive and semiactive suspensions are characterized as with constant parameters which cannot cope with timevariant road conditions, the suspension results are difficult to be satisfied. Although, the active ones are better than previous two on suspension performance, until now which are still far from real application for the drawbacks of complicated structure, large volume, costly, and difficult maintenance. Here, Ball Screw (BS) is with the characteristics of smaller volume, precise positioning, and well handling highspeed forward and backward transmissions. Instead of hydraulic or pneumatic mechanisms used for vehicle suspension, BS is adopted to be the main body of the proposed New Adaptive Suspension System (NASS). Besides, in order to overcome the unavoidable timedelay resulted from mechanical or computational operations, the Kalman filter, integrated with suspension controller, is used to estimate the road conditions. The effectiveness and feasibility of this proposal are confirmed through simulation studies.

velocity and the more fins gradually. This innovative heat pipe exchanger is proofed through our
experiment. This heat pipe Hx is suitable for the application of enhanced geothermal system (EGS)
and more energy harvesting application.

名稱  Geometry Optimization of Thermoelectric Coolers Using Simplified Conjugate Gradient Method

摘要  This paper develops an inverse problem approach to optimize the geometric structure of TECs (thermoelectric
coolers). The approach integrates a complete multiphysics TEC model and a simplified conjugategradient method. The present TEC model couples the heat and electrical conductions and accounts for all physical mechanisms occurred within TECs. Three geometric parameters, the semiconductor pair number, N, leg length of semiconductor column, Hpn, and base area ratio of semiconductor columns to TEC, g, are optimized simultaneously at fixed current and fixed temperature difference. The cooling rate on the cold end is the objective function to be maximized to obtain the optimal TEC geometry. The effects of applied current and temperature difference on the optimal geometry are discussed. The results show that at temperature difference of 20 K, the geometry optimization increases the TEC cooling rate by 1.99e10.21 times compared with the initial TEC geometry, and the optimal N decreases
from 100 to 47 with invariable g ? 0.95 and Hpn ? 0.2 mm, as the applied current varies from 1.0 A to 3.0 A. With the increase in temperature difference, the optimal N increases at smaller currents of I 1.0 A, however, it is almost invariable at larger currents of I 1.5 A.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to optimize the design of a composite laminate hydrogen storage vessel for minimizing
stress concentration. The optimum design of this study uses the finiteelement method combined with a simplified
conjugated gradient method (SCGM) and genetic algorithm (GA) to find the minimization of von Mises stress of
the composite laminate hydrogen storage vessel. In this study, a composite laminate hydrogen storage vessel with
an aluminum liner and a carbon fiber/epoxy layer are considered. The winding angle and thickness of the composite
layer are proposed as optimal design variables. The comparison between SCGM and GA is discussed in order
to obtain a promising optimum in design process. Through this optimization, the best possible combination of
winding angle and thickness of composite layer has been obtained to obtain minimum possible stress concentration.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to discuss the temperature and stress distribution problem of the interverbral disc while the surgical operation of PLDD is processing. This study also further discuss the water content of disc changes with age to cause variation of thermal conductivity thermal expansion coefficient specific heat and related parameters, and the effect of thermal conductivity related about the patients age will be illustrated. The 3D thermal structure conjugated model of the multiphysics analysis algorithm is used to understand the temperature and stress distribution of the whole domain and heat transfer phenomena under the different kinds of laser heating rate and patients. The temperature profile of the intervertebral disk is obtained and reveals the relations among the parameters. The temperature profile is predicted as the heat transfer phenomena can be handled on the surgical process. In the future, we expect that this result can be used to handle the PLDD in the presurgical simulation.

摘要  This study investigates the compatibility of aluminum flatplate heat pipes (FPHPs) used for filling acetone as a working fluid after longterm operation of and the noncondensable gas (NCG) exhausting process. The rate of NCG generation substantially decreased after conducting the NCG exhausting process, proving the compatibility of acetone with the aluminum FPHPs. However, the thermal resistance was not enhanced because hydroxide bayerite (Al(OH)3) was generated as a product of the reaction.

摘要  In this study heat transfer of supercritical carbon dioxide in vertical tube with 10 mm of inner diameter and
1800 mm of length was investigated experimentally. The initial temperature of tube wall was set to 150 and
200°C. The system pressures of supercritical carbon dioxide are 1100, 1500 and 2000 psi, respectively. The
experimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer rate increase with Reynolds number. The maximum heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer rate was occurred in 1500 psi of system pressure. The heat transfer coefficient for 150°C is higher than that of 200°C resulted from effect of specific heat.

摘要  Residual stress in MEMS is of inherent importance in various respects. This study proposes a specific method using ANSYS including the birth and death method and combined with the optimal method (SCGM) to reduce the residual stresses during the CMOS fabrication process. The suitable cooling temperature for decreasing the residual stress is proposed and available. It demonstrates that the suitable parameter on the fabrication can reduce the residual stress in MEMS devices without any extra manufacturing process or external apparatus. The proposed method can expand to simulate the realistic MEMS model effectively.

摘要  New energy and energy saving are the two basic energy issues. This study proposes an innovative optimal method to design the LEDs with the high thermal spreading holder. The optimizationuses the FEM combined with the simplified conjugated gradient method (SCGM).The minimal temperature of the MCPCB backside of the LEDs is obtained throughout this design.The simulations have been proofed by the experiment of IR and thermal couple measurement. The optimal temperaturedecreases about compared with the original temperaturewithout anyactive cooling device.This design can prolong the LEDs’ life to benefit the energy saving obviously. In addition, this design combined with the active cooling device will achieve the better heat dissipation on the cooling of the electronic component.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to obtain the heat extraction of the supercritical CO2 in the reservoir for the EGS. The heat transfer model conjugated with the Darcy’s law employed by the finite element package is used to obtain the thermal behavior in the porous medium. The sensitivity parameter study under the various inlet velocities and porosities of the porous medium are discussed. The results show that the inlet velocity is the most important effect for the heat extraction. The temperature of exit decreases as the inlet velocity increases apparently. It means that the heat extraction will increase as the velocity decreases. However, it is evident gradually as the porosity decreases. This study can enhance the heat extraction and reduce the cost of realistic test of enhanced geothermal system.

摘要  The heat transfer phenomena of supercritical carbon dioxide are experimentally investigated in a vertical tube with silicabased porous media. The experiment is conducted for the various static pressure, the flow rate, the initial wall temperature, and nonporous or porous media. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient with porous media increases as the flow rate increases. Moreover, the excellent performance is exhibited at 10 MPa because of the effects of inlet temperature. In addition, the effects of the porosity and the initial wall temperature are weak through these results. This study will provide the effective data for regarding the operating conditions of the enhanced
geothermal system.

摘要  The convection heat transfer characteristics of supercritical CO2 in a horizontal tube were
investigated experimentally. The experimental parameters were supercritical pressures and volumetric flow
rates. The experimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient increased with flow rate. Furthermore,
the pseudocritical point had a significant influence on the heat transfer coefficient. In the study, the
supercritical pressure of 10MPaconstituted an optimal operating condition for CO2EGS because of the high
heat transfer performance at 200 ℃.

摘要  The flexible carbon dioxide sensor is a prospective technology for the extensive application of
oSAW device. The purpose of this study is to optimize the crystallization of ZnO film for a carbon dioxide
sensor by solgel technology and inkjet technology. The flexible CO2 sensor composes of a ZnO layer
sandwiched in between a flexible sheet, IDT electrode layer, and top sensor layer. The ZnO thin film uses the
solgel method and spin coating. Triethanolamine adds into ZnO solution to promote the robust of ZnO film.
The IDT of the top electrode layer is nano silver by inkjet printing technology. Finally, Triethanolamine film
is coated as the CO2 sensor layer. The center operating frequency of this SAW CO2 sensor is measured by the
vector network analyzer. The results prove that the significant deviation of frequency resulted from the
absorption of CO2 is observed. The characteristics of this CO2 sensor is thin, portable and flexible. The
improvement of fabricated parameters will enhance the effect of sensing of this saw CO2 sensor in future.

名稱  The Study of an Innovative Heat Removal Model of the Aluminumacetone Flat Plate Heat Pipe on High Power LEDs

摘要  It is well known that heat generation will be harmful to high power LEDs. It is hardly effectively dissipated
and results in a serious problem in the luminous efficiency. The most important issue in LED research is to
find a potential design of heat removal. The purpose of this study is to design the LEDs combined with the
cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe by the experimental and numerical simulation
for obtaining high efficiency in heat removal. The high power LEDs with and without heat pipe cooling
module are compared. The numerical simulation is built and agrees with the experiment. The heat removal
efficiency of the cooling module reaches 92.09% and drops the junction temperature of LED about 36C.
This cooling module has proven to be effective in solving the heat concentration problems associated with
the LED chips. In short, the phase change cooling module will apply on the electronic component of high
heat concentration for more effective cooling method.

摘要  The heat transfer phenomena of supercritical carbon dioxide were experimentally investigated in a vertical tube containing silicabased porous media. The experiment was conducted at various levels of static pressure, flow rates, and initial wall temperatures as well as with silica sand of porous media in a long test section to study the heat transfer characteristics of supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2). The results indicated that the average heat transfer coefficient and outlet temperature at an initial wall temperature of 150 °C were higher and lower than that of 200 °C. The heat transfer performance was significantly influenced by flow rate of supercritical CO2. The porous media was provided large heat exchange surface between particles and CO2 to increase the heat transfer coefficient, especially when small diameter of particles. When the inlet temperature was higher than the pseudocritical temperature, the heat transfer coefficient sharply dropped when x/L ≥ 0.5, because of the development of a thermal boundary and the decrease of CO2 thermophysical properties of CO2 in a far pseudocritical temperature. When the pseudocritical temperature was higher than the inlet temperature of the fluid, the local heat transfer coefficient was affected by a thermal boundary and hermophysical properties of CO2 in pseudocritical point at a higher initial wall temperature or lower supercritical ressure when x/L ≤ 0.75; only the thermophysical properties of supercritical CO2 in pseudocritical point played a pivotal role when x/L > 0.75 at a lower initial wall temperature or higher supercritical pressure. In the present study, the upercritical pressure of 10.5 MPa constituted an optimal operating condition for supercritical CO2 a long silicabased porousmedia tube because of the high heat transfer performance at 150 and 200 °C.

The finite element analysis built from the ANSYS parametric design language is optimized by SCGM. The results are validated by the previous study. This study proves that the optimization of geometry can reduce the stress concentration of the pressure vessel effectively.
It will benefit the design of the nuclear reactor for safe consideration. In addition, this proposed optimal method will build an effective way to simplify the engineering design procedure.

摘要  In this study, we have developed a flexible AlN doped ZnO tactile sensor. This flexible sensor can be applied on the complex surface of the device. The tactile sensor is fabricated by AlN doped ZnO thin film deposited on the flexible polyimide (PI) substrate or copper substrate. The solgel method and spincoating method are utilized to prepare the AlN doped ZnO piezoelectric films. We have also investigated the influences of the speed of spincoating on the crystallinity and piezoelectric properties of the thin films. The methods of Xray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy are used to examine the crystallinity and the surface topography of the AlN doped ZnO thin films. In
addition, the forcefeedback analyses are performed to compare the output voltages between the sensors on the PI substrate and copper substrate. The response of force feedback proves the availability of this flexible tactile sensor and its robust piezoelectric properties.

名稱  Optimization of the Micro Channel Heat Sink by Combing Genetic Algorithm with the Finite Element Method

摘要  The design of a micro multichannel heat sink to achieve the minimum thermal resistance is the purpose of this study. The numerical package is employed by using the genetic algorithm to process the heat dissipation optimization of the micro multichannel heat sink (the genetic algorithm employs the numerical package). The variables of this optimal design include channel number, channel aspect ratio and the ratio of channel width to pitch, as well as considering the weight of this micro channel heat sink in the optimal design process. Therefore, this optimization is a multiobjective
function design. The results show that the thermal resistance is decreased as 0.144 W/K, and the weight of this micro channel heat sink can be decreased, individually or simultaneously.

摘要  In recent years, multiaxis robots are indispensable in automated factories due to the rapid development of Industry 4.0. Many related processes were required to have the increasing demand for accuracy, reproducibility, and abnormal detection. The monitoring function and immediate feedback for correction is more and more important. This present study integrated a highly sensitive lithium niobate (LiNbO3) vibration sensor as a sensor node (SN) and architecture of wireless mesh network (WMN) to develop a monitoring system (MS) for the robotic arm. The advantages of the
thinfilm LiNbO3 piezoelectric sensor were lowcost, highsensitivity and good electrical compatibility. The experimental results obtained from the vibration platform show that the sensitivity achieved 50 mV/g and the reaction time within 1 ms. The results of onsite testing indicated that the SN could be configured on the relevant equipment quickly and detect the abnormal vibration in specific equipment effectively. Each SN could be used more than 10 h at the 80 Hz transmission rate under WMN architecture and the loss rate of transmission was less than 0.01% within 20 m.

摘要  This study presents a process to find the maximum heat extraction in supercritical CO2 geothermal system. Little attention in the previous studies about the thermal dispersion receives. A porous heat transfer model and the corresponding porous experimental system are proposed to build the correlation of thermal dispersion. The correlation of thermal dispersion is obtained from the fitting process between the corresponding model and experiment. The maximum geothermal extraction is found based on the optimal process and porous heat transfer model considered thermal dispersion. The optimal operated pressure and mass flow rate based on supercritical CO2 flow are obtained. These results will result in the range of the realistic operation and reduce the cost of process in insitu.

摘要  Various energy harvesters were developed by several energy sources. In the heat pipe, the vapor momentum can be used to drive a mechanical structure to generate electricity. To bridge this gap, this study experimentally designed an energy harvester on the basis of a vaporinduced vibration for the innovative heat pipe application. The energy harvester, comprising a cantilever beam and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), was designed using finite element method and the genetic algorithm (GA) to reach the resonance point. Copper, aluminum, and polyethylene (PE) were used as the material of the cantilever beam for the energy harvester. The optimized energy harvester was examined using a shocker, and obtained the output voltage. The output power of the harvester was affected by the vapor velocity, cantilever beam material, and natural frequency. The output voltages of the PVDF with the cantilever beam are better than the one of PVDF without the cantilever beam and it increased 367%, 393%, and 470%ascantilever beam is copper, aluminum, and polyethylene, respectively. The theoretical and practical implication, limitations of the present study for future studies are presented and studied.

摘要  Microactuator has applied on the microrobotics, microfluidics et al. widely. In general, to obtain the maximum output force is the designed requirement of electrothermal actuator. However, the displacement for the force output will result in the stress concentration. The important issue is to reduce the failure of the electrothermal actuator resulted from the stress concentration. This paper proposes an optimal process that involves using the finite element method and genetic algorithm to maximize the displacement and output force and minimize the stress concentration for enhancing the performance of an electrothermal microactuator. The results were validated by comparing the simulated results of a previous study. Geometric design parameters were used for determining the displacement, output force, and stress concentration. The optimal design was proved to increase the life expectancy of microactuator.

摘要  This pioneer study presents the phenomena of anisotropic chemical etching in the range of the
linewidth 15nm~100nm. In this study, a phasefield model is established and a resist mask is appointed on the surface to simulate a chemical etching process with a gate geometry. In the numerical simulations, the isotropic and anisotropic etching conditions are both evaluated to explore the fine chemical etching circumstances. In addition, the influences of etching parameters, such as the etching rate and the strength of the anisotropy, on the characteristics of gate profile are also demonstrated. From the simulation results, it shows that a larger loss of linewidth or a higher etch bias is involved with the increase of the etching rate. While an anisotropic etching is considered, a facetedetching profile would be generated and simultaneously the etch bias could be suppressed during the etching process. As the anisotropy is strengthened, the characteristic profile becomes more distinct with a less loss of the linewidth. These numerical simulations could provide a methodical guidance to concisely control the fine etching profile, and broaden the applications of chemical etching in the advanced robust manufacturing technologies.

摘要  高功率電子元件損毀的原因通常是過度熱集中所導致，因熱無法有效快速地傳遞至散熱端，使元件之溫度不斷上升，造成元件故障。本研究主要目的是發展一主動式微型致冷器以應用於高功率LED或高單位面積熱集中元件之熱移除，利用致冷器內薄膜震動所導致之強制對流循環方式，將元件之熱量以熱擴散之方式快速移出，以達到快速移熱之效果。本研究將使用有限元素法商業軟體COMSOL，利用流固耦合模組和熱傳模組，並搭配移動網格技術，模擬此主動式微型致冷器應用於高單位面積熱集中元件時之熱傳現象。研究結果顯示，所提出之方法可以趨緩元件溫度之上升時間，達到熱量快速移除之效果。有效利用此主動式微型致冷器將能提升元件之效率、穩定性及使用壽命。本研究所提出方法適用於各式高功率元電子元件冷卻之設計，能有效將熱快速擴散，降低二次散熱元件之耗能。

摘要  The stress concentration of the electrothemal microactuator is an important issue in the MEMS structure
resulting from the existence of stress concentration essentially to change the performance and reduce the structural life time of MEMS devices. This paper proposes a method to optimize the fillet radius of the electrothermal Vbeam microactuators due to bent beam connected with electrical pad. The genetic algorithm combines with the finite element method to design the
optimal fillet radius of bent beam. A novel design of the fillet radius on Vbeam actuator can significantly improve the stress concentration. In this study, we use the proposed method to design the beam width and thickness to obtain the relative minimum stress, firstly. Then, the optimal fillet radius can achieve by using the same method at the given beam width and thickness. The results show that the stress concentration can be reduced about 57.7% after optimization.

摘要  The overheated problem is the important issue in the operation of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. A cooling system is applied to reduce the temperature of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. We present the finite element method to build three types cooling system for solving the overheated phenomena in this problem. For achieving the better cooling way, this investigation considers different types of cooling channel and pressure of the chamber in this simulated process. These simulated results show that the proposed method is accurate, stable, and efficient for handling the heat transfer problems. We expect that the proposed study can apply to ameliorate the overheated problem effectively.

名稱  Using Genetic Algorithm to Minimize the Stress Concentration for ElectroThermal Microactuator

摘要  The stress concentration of the electrothemal microactuator is an important issue in the MEMS structure resulting from the existence of stress concentration essentially to change the performance and reduce the structural life time of MEMS devices. The research proposes an optimal process using finite element method combined with the genetic algorithm programing by Matlab as an optimization for the shape design of the microactuator. The finite element method is to use the commercial package ANSYS to process the simulation and analysis. The analysis of the microactuator, which includes the displacement optimization, the output of the force optimization, the stress distribution are analyzed, and determines the most suitable geometric variables. Here, the optimal objective function is to find the maximum displacement, output force, and minimum Von Mises stress in the optimization of the shape design. By the variables of the shapes design, it is real to prove Von Mises stress distribution in the discontinuous location of the bend beam, and increase the lifetime expectancy of the microactuator. The proposed optimal process will establish an effective automated method for computeraided design process, which is a good development for the MEMS development.

摘要  An aeroelastic system combines several complex theories of physics. These principles will cause instability situations or be interacted each other. If this behavior occurs, it will result in the fatigue problems or structural damages on the wings of aircrafts. In order to
avoid these conditions to occur, this paper studies the
nonlinear dynamic behaviors of aeroelastic system under
specific operating conditions and employs differential
transformation method (DTM) to decrease the calculation errors. Also, the bifurcation diagram, Poincare map, and power spectra are used to analyze the numerical results. The results reveal a complex dynamic behavior comprising periodic, subharmonic, and nonperiodic responses of the system. Especially, the nonperiodic motion occurs at the interval of ±180o for angle of trailing edge. The proposed method provides an effective means of gaining insights into the nonlinear dynamics of aeroelastic systems.

摘要  The most important issue is to find the potential energy inside the heat pipe. The focus of this paper is on the investigation of using a vapor mode piezoelectric film for energy harvesting from a fluid flow. Design of the energy harvester with an assembly technique is described. The experimental setup is used to measure vapor velocity, and voltage output of the device. The fabricated device is tested under the different. It shows that a very small continuous power and can fit with the requirements of piezoelectric materials MEMSscale sources. This design can improve the previous concepts of the heat pipe generator.

摘要  The flexible surface acoustic wave (SAW) device is a promising product for the expanded application of SAW device. Over the past few years, a very few attempts have been made it on the flexible substrate. The purpose of this study is to propose an innovated process for abricating the flexible SAW devices by solgel technology and fully ink jet technology. The ZnO solution is repared by solgel technology and deposits on the flexible olyimide plastic (PI) substrate by fully ink jet process. Next, the high gain amplifier and an
impedance match circuit are consisted be a surface acoustic wave device. Through the comparison between the predicted value and experimental center frequency, the experimental center frequencies agree with the predicted value and operate. Finally, the analysis of surface acoustic wave propagation characteristics is used the Finite Element Method (FEM).The numerical model will be built for optimization in future.

摘要  The advantage of aluminum heat pipe is cost and weight. The ammonia is typically used as working fluid in aluminum heat pipe. Because of the toxicity of ammonia, the ammoniaaluminum heat pipe is not used in general user. The acetone is considerable due to low toxicity. However, little literature has been published on the aluminumacetone heat pipe reliability. In this study, the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe is examined at high temperature and long time to accelerate generation of noncondensable gases (NCGs).The objective of this study is to examine reliability of aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe and use the process to exhaust NCGs for wateraluminum produce. It will benefit to improve performance of aluminumacetone heat pipe.

摘要  This paper presents an optimization design of micro channel heat sink. The three dimensional model of this heat sink with fluid flow cooling is investigated by numerical simulations. The optimization algorithm in this paper combines finite element method with genetic algorithm. The objective of this optimization design is improving the ability of heat dissipation for the micro channel heat sink. The design variables of this optimization design include the number of channel N, channel aspect ratio α and the ratio of channel width to pitch β. Moreover, this paper even considers the weight of this micro channel heat sink in the optimal design process. The results show that the heat dissipative ability can be improved, and the weight of this micro channel heat sink can be decreased, individually or simultaneously.

摘要  近年來能源問題日益嚴重，如何尋找新的能源或能夠回收或獵取浪費之能源為許多研究者著重之課題。本研究為本年度國科會計畫「新型壓電熱管發電機之設計與製造」之研究成果，其目的為利用熱管中本已存在之蒸汽動能做為振動致電之能量來源。而其中之流場現象及熱傳沸騰現象更是熱管在不同工作溫度下所能產生電量之關鍵參數。熱管中液汽相轉換時，蒸汽通過熱管中設計之噴嘴以提高汽體流速以驅動壓電薄片振動而發電。本研究之目的為探討如何設計利用熱管內流體之流動為壓電型熱管發電機之動力來源，並探討其效率以進行實際運作。本研究於熱管中設計合適之噴嘴以提高汽體流速以驅動壓電薄片振動而達成發電之目的。研究中以實驗來探討其關係，將進行蒸汽驅動壓電片發電之實驗，以獲得熱管加熱功率及發電量間之關係。此結果可有效運用於壓電型熱管發電機之設計與製造上。

摘要  The effect of ZincOxide (ZnO) thin film annealed in different ambiences is presented. To achieve low cost and environmentally friendly process, ZnO aqueous solution is synthesized by dissolving zinc acetate dihydrate in deionized water directly. Zinc oxide aqueous solution of high solubility and stability is presented. High quality and dense Zinc oxide thin film is formed by spin coating. Annealing temperatures are in the range of 300 °C~500 °C, and annealing ambiences of both air and N2 are discussed.

摘要  This research provides a technique to predict the elastic deformation of a CMOSMEMS bridge structure subjected to the mean stress and gradient stress. First, the stress boundaries are setting to obtain the equivalent mechanical model. And then using the commercial software ANSYS to simulate the deformation of a beam under stress conditions. The simulation results about the predeformation caused by residual stress agree well with experimental data. Therefore, an analytical method of a CMOSMEMS bridge with residual stress is developed in this paper, which can be used to improve the reliability of the CMOSMEMS structure.

摘要  近幾年來感測器蓬勃發展，表面聲波感測器已成為關注重點，由於表面聲波元件裝置有極少數被製造於可撓式基板，其將可促使表面聲波元件裝置應用更加多元化。本文研究可撓式表面聲波元件之氧化鋅薄膜性質，運用溶膠凝膠法(SolGel Method)調配氧化鋅(ZnO)溶液，並透過旋轉塗佈(Spin Coating)沉積氧化鋅薄膜，最後以X 光繞射儀(XRD)及掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)來觀察其薄膜的結晶晶相、材料性質及表面形態，藉此探討旋轉塗佈轉速對氧化鋅薄膜結晶之影響性，在未來利用結晶性良好之氧化鋅薄膜製造可撓式表面聲波元件。

摘要  近年來，隨著半導體技術蓬勃發展與成熟，電子產品不斷趨向小體積、高效能及高功率發展，並擴展應用至消費型電子和醫療系統等領域，因此微流道散熱器之使用也越來越普遍。本研究整合有限元素分析軟體與最佳化方法來進行微流道散熱器之最佳化設計，其使用之最佳化方法為基因演算法(Genetic Algorithm)，有限元素方法則是運用商業套裝軟體COMSOL Multiphysics 來進行模擬及分析。本研究針對微流道散熱器之三維模型取兩通道之中連結長度、壓力分佈及溫度分佈進行探討，以最適合之幾何參數與散熱器之散熱效率為最佳化目標函數來進行最佳化設計。分析結果顯示，藉由改變不同連結長度幾何參數，可以找到有效設計之目標，並提高散熱性能。

摘要  Nowadays, reducing the greenhouse gas emissions have become the common objective for countries around the world. This study presents an innovative heat exchanger of heat pipe for cooling system. By using the heat pipe for cooling air is the fundamental idea of this heat exchanger. The heat exchanger consists a heating blower to blow out hot air, a circulating cool water device, and a set of heat pipes. The results show that the temperature of air decreases apparently through the heat exchange. In addition the effects of the air velocity are discussed for the efficiency of this heat exchanger. The efficiency is better as the air velocity increases. Therefore, this innovative heat pipe exchanger is proofed through our experiment. This heat pipe Hx is suitable for the application of enhanced geothermal system (EGS).

摘要  Molecular dynamics simulations are performed to investigate the torsional buckling behavior of singlewalled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) filled with hydrogen gas. The simulation model accounts for both the mechanical deformation of the SWCNT and the interactions among the hydrogen and carbon atoms. It is found that the critical torsional moment and stiffness of the SWCNT are both significantly dependent on the hydrogen molecule storage density. Importantly, the change in torsional stiffness differs from that of conventional linear elastic materials as a result of the nonlinear oscillatory response due to nonlinear mechanical effects.It is shown that under large deformations, the SWCNT switches reversibly between different morphological patterns. Each change in pattern corresponds to an abrupt release of the strain energy and a singularity in the stressstrain curve. It is shown that at higher hydrogen storage densities, the hydrogen molecules exert a stabilizing effect on the SWCNT. The degree of torsional stability is determined principally by the distribution of the hydrogen molecules within the SWCNT. Finally, it is shown that the torsional deformation of the SWCNT is characterized by a stickslip phenomenon.

摘要  利用地熱能源來替代化石燃料同時減少溫室效應所造成的問題為新一代的趨勢，而增強型地熱系統就是其中一個方法。因增強型地熱系統之工作流體主要為水，其受限於水資源豐富的地層，又因水的物理性質須要更多泵功導致取熱效益降低。本研究實驗方法是建立實驗室取熱系統，利用超臨界二氧化碳取代水為工作流體並注入空心測試段內探討不同壓力、流量以及溫度下超臨界二氧化碳之取熱效益，並與具有多孔介質之測試段比較取熱效益。由實驗結果可以看出流量增加會造成Nu和熱交換量提高，壓力在1500Psi時的Nu與熱交換量最大;在溫度150℃時Nu較大，但熱交換量小於200℃，這是因為二氧化碳的比熱隨著溫度改變的緣故，最後孔隙率對於Nu與熱交換量的影響不大。

摘要  本研究利用NaAlH4吸放氫化學反應動力方程式建立一個鋁系金屬儲氫材料之卡匣式儲氫罐。透過固態熱傳理論與金屬粉體等效熱傳導係數的物理模型的分析，完成鋁系金屬儲氫材料在不同溫度與壓力下，儲氫系統之氫氣吸附的動力曲線。在了解鋁系金屬儲氫材料吸放氫特性與反應熱的關係、材料氫化的動力特性與系統充氫的時間(refueling time)，定義出屬於應用端需求的氫化物總量、系統吸氫與放氫的最佳壓力及溫度條件。最後針對氫氣應用端需求的氫氣流率回饋相關數據，進行儲氫罐導熱能力的基本設計。

For the purpose of the effective usage of supercritical CO2 flowed from the product well of CO2 EGS (Enhanced Geothermal System), an innovative heat pipe heat exchanger (Hx) is designed and practiced in this study. This study presents an innovative Hx of heat pipe for
extracting the heat from CO2 or warm gas. By using the heat pipe for cooling gas is the fundamental idea of this Hx. The experimental apparatus of Hx consists a heating blower to blow out hot gas, a circulating cool water device, and a set of heat pipes. The efficiency of Hx is approved as the increasing air velocity and the more fins gradually. This innovative heat pipe exchanger is proofed through our experiment. This heat pipe Hx is suitable for the application of enhanced geothermal system (EGS) and more energy harvesting application.

摘要  The flat plate heat pipe (FPHP) made of aluminum with a coppercoated surface, for filling acetone, is investigated by experiment. Performance indicators, such as temperature uniformity, thermal resistance and maximum heat transport are measured on the varying filling amounts of working fluid. After 2000 h of compatibility test, the results show that the generated rate of noncondensable gas (NCG) for a 1.4 g filling amount is larger than the one of 1.7 g. After that, The NCG exhausted process is operated after this 2000 h, then continued for an additional 2000 h compatibility test. Finally, it can proof that the FPHP is available under the compatibility between the aluminum and acetone.

摘要  For the passive and semiactive suspensions are characterized as with constant parameters which cannot cope with timevariant road conditions, the suspension results are difficult to be satisfied. Although, the active ones are better than previous two on suspension performance, until now which are still far from real application for the drawbacks of complicated structure, large volume, costly, and difficult maintenance. Here, Ball Screw (BS) is with the characteristics of smaller volume, precise positioning, and well handling highspeed forward and backward transmissions. Instead of
hydraulic or pneumatic mechanisms used for vehicle suspension, BS is adopted to be the main body of the proposed New Adaptive Suspension System (NASS). Besides, in order to overcome the unavoidable timedelay resulted from mechanical or computational operations, the Kalman filter, integrated with suspension controller, is used to estimate the road conditions. The effectiveness and feasibility of this proposal are confirmed through simulation studies.

摘要  This study issues the improvement of the parameters of manufacturing on the flexible SAW device. The better piezoelectric characteristics of ZnO film will be obtained. The SolGel method is used to prepare the ZnO solution and deposits ZnO film by spin coating process. Xray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) are used to get the crystalline property. The results reveal that ZnO film possesses better crystalline property in 400RPM of spin speed. The piezoelectric intensity of (002) direction is 1566.67 (a.u.) and atomic morphology of ZnO film are exhibited by SEM image. This better ZnO film will enhance the wave propagation of surface acoustic wave (SAW) device. It can also expand the application of SAW device.

Our group has proposed an innovated micro heat pipe harvester based on the micropiezoelectric vibrationinduced power device. The deformation of the piezoelectric material by vapors impacting enables it to convert the vapor momentum to the power. In this paper, the purpose is to enhance the output of the micro heat
pipe generator by the optimization of the vibrationinduced device. A suitable cantilever beam combined with piezoelectric material is designed by multiphysics and genetic algorithm. The optimal geometry is found to approach its natural frequency. The experimental results show that the power improves about 293.38%. Through this study, the micro heat pipe generator will be practiced
and approach the available usage.

摘要  The channel heat sink is in contact with the working fluid to remove the heat. But much channel will result
higher pressure difference issue in the micro multichannel heat sink. In this paper, a ladder shape channel (link between the parallel channel) is proposed to correct the problem of high pressure difference. The design of the link decreases the pressure difference for reducing the pump work of the micro multichannel heat sink. The purpose of this paper is to maximize the efficiency of the micro multichannel ladder shape heat sink by using optimization design. An optimization method based on the genetic algorithm and COMSOL 3D conjugated thermalfluid model is applied to establish the optimal geometry parameters of the link. The results show that this optimized heat sink design can improve the efficiency more than 43%. And the heat removal of the proposed device is significantly improved.

摘要  尋求各種冷卻模組之設計，以紓緩高功率LED過熱問題，為目前研發上亟為重要之課題。本文將探討一種自行開發之板式鋁丙酮熱管為冷卻模組之被動式高功率LED冷卻模組之移熱效率，板式鋁丙酮熱管在其穩定及適於中溫操作之機制具有極佳之發展潛力。本文對比同樣LED陣列在無冷卻模組與應用板式鋁丙酮熱管之高功率LED冷卻模組的工作狀態，並對其進行模擬計算，並探討其於高功率LED上之工作效率以進行實際之運作。首先將LED佈置於銅基板，利用熱電偶測量LED接點溫度得出無散熱模組時之溫度分布，然後利用板式鋁丙酮熱管建立冷卻模組，將LED熱源以同樣的模式置於其表面，再次測量溫度分布。以此建立不同功率下LED陣列在有無散熱模組的接點溫度狀況，對比其結果計算熱移除量。繼而利用多重物理量模擬軟體，建立相應的理論模型進行熱傳分析，將實驗數據與模擬結果進行比較以相互驗證並掌握誤差，利用模擬與實驗相結合來得出鋁丙酮熱管在高功率LED散熱模組中的熱移除能力。未來將利用模擬結果進行該冷卻模組之最佳化設計。本文所提之設計將可有效於高功率電子元件進行散熱，亦可有效且廣泛應用於系統之節能設計上。

摘要  —This study designs and fabricates an double cell split ring resonator with the properties of metamaterials by the fully inkjet printing technology and COMSOL package. The pattern made of nano silver is printed on the flexible polyimide (PI) substrate. Sparameters of this resonator are obtained from the vector network analyzer. The frequency band of the split ring resonator responses in 5.56 GHz. It can be converted to obtain the permittivity and magnetic permeability. The fully inkjet printing technology proposed in this study is robust and cheaper than the MEMS process. Through this fabricated process, the fabrication of metamaterials will become robust and faster. In addition, we expect that this fabricated method can be expanded to the most of manufactured process of film devices, such as SAW
devices, transparency film, and metamaterials.

名稱  The Effect of Graphene Growth on Impurities Catalyst Substrates

摘要  The study investigates the graphene growth on four types of industrial copper ribbons. The graphene is synthesized by low pressure chemical vapor deposition. Both of the Argon and (CH4/H2) mixture are the precursors for deposition time. The surface morphology and grain growth behavior of these films are studied by SEM and OM observation. Impurities on the Cu substrate behave as the nucleation sites in the formation of carbon cluster on Cu surface. The graphene morphologies on these 4 types
substrates are constituted by carbon discs in the range of 1~20 μm. Fractal geometry has been observed to study a variety of irregular films within a jigsaw of the variance grain structures. Current results verify the effect of surface impurities on the resulting graphene thin film. We suggest that a higher Cu purity substrate
supports formation of larger graphene grain size.

Fractal geometry has been observed to study a variety of irregular films within a jigsaw of the variance grain structures. Based on these results, we suggest that the growth of graphene thin films can be described by the fractal dynamics. The distribution of the surface impurities enhances grain structure homogeneous of the graphene film.

摘要  The heat transfer phenomena of supercritical carbon dioxide are experimentally investigated in a vertical tube for improving the efficiency of CO2EGS. The experiment is conducted for the various flow rate and the initial wall temperature. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient with porous media increases as the flow rate increases. Moreover, the excellent performance is exhibited at 1500 psi because of the effects of inlet temperature. In addition, the effects of the porosity and the initial wall temperature are weak through these results. This study will provide the effective data for regarding the operating conditions of the enhanced geothermal system.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to obtain the heat extraction of the supercritical CO2 in the reservoir for the enhanced geothermal system (EGS). The heat transfer model conjugated with the Darcy’s law employed by the finite element package is used to evaluate the thermal behavior in the porous medium. The influence of heat extraction on different inlet velocity and various porous porosity is studied. The simulation results show that the inlet velocity is the major parameter for the heat extraction. The temperature of exit decreases as the inlet velocity increases apparently. It means that the heat extraction will increase as the velocity decreases. However, the effect of porous porosity should also be considered since the heat transfer area will be influenced by different porosity. The effects of larger heat transfer area and slower flow will increases the heat extraction effectively.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to obtain the heat extraction of the supercritical CO2 in the reservoir for the enhanced geothermal system (EGS). The heat transfer model conjugated with the Brinkman’s law employed by the finite element package is used to obtain the thermal behavior in the porous medium. The different pressure of the reservoir, the various inlet volumetric flow rate are discussed. The simulation results show that the temperature difference between the wall and working fluid at the outlet is strongly influenced by the inlet volumetric flow rate, which is, the heat extraction will increase as the volumetric flow rate decreases. However, the maximum heat extraction can be obtained under the appropriate reservoir pressure due to the particular property of supercritical CO2.

名稱  Parametric Analysis of Electromagnetic Waves Shielding of Metamaterial Structures

摘要  “Metamaterial” is a unique material which has negative permittivity and negative magnetic permeability as well [13], and by embedding microscalemetallic structures in dielectric materials, it features shielding effect. In this study, a threedimensional numerical model of the electromagnetic wave shielding effect of a metamaterial structure is developed based on framework of a commercial computer package. The metamaterial layer includes a layer of periodic metallic pattern and a layer of dielectric material. It is used as a frequency selective surface which can achieve nearly perfect shield in terahertz regime. In addition, effects of geometric parameters with the structure of the metamaterial layers on shielding of incident electromagnetic wave are predicted for different patterns and geometries. In the analysis, results show if cell size, pattern size or gap size of the pattern is increased, the frequency selective range of shielding is increased. The predicted frequency selective range is found to be independent of the solution domain. For a silver pattern of 0.5mm width, the shielding ratio of typical peak attenuation is 34% at 4.2 GHz.

摘要  BSTRACT
This study designs and fabricates an innovative flexible CO2 sensor based on the SAW device. The flexible sensor is composed of a ZnO layer sandwiched in between a flexible sheet, IDT electrode layer, and top sensor layer [1]. The solgel method and spin coating are used on the ZnO thin film. In advance, addition of Triethanolamine promotes the robust of ZnO film. The IDT of the top electrode layer is nano silver by inkjet printing technology [2]. Inkjet printing process possesses the advantages of direct patterning and lowcost. It does not require MEMS processes since the pattern is directly printed on the flexible PI sheet [3]. Finally, Triethanolamine film is done by spin coating as the sensor layer. The center operating frequency of this SAW CO2 sensor is measured by the vector network analyzer. The results prove that the significant deviation of frequency resulted from the absorption of CO2 is observed. The characteristics of this CO2 sensor is thin, portable and flexible. The improvement of fabricated parameters will enhance the effect of sensing of this saw CO2 sensor in future.

摘要  The power of LED increases very fast and the application of LED is more widely as the technology growing. The advantages of LED are small size, long lifetime, fast response, high lighting efficiency, antiimpact and colorful. The most important issue of the LED research still is to find a potential design of heat removal and solve the problem of LED overheating. The purpose of this study is to design the LEDs combined with the cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe by the experiment and numerical simulation for the high efficiency of heat removal. The optimization of LED package is done by our team [1] for the optimal heat removal of LED chip. In 2011, the optimal arrangement of LED array is proposed for avoiding the high concentration of the power density [2]. The innovative aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe is proposed and fabricated by our team [3]. The heat pipe which transfer the heat by phase transition is suit for the working temperature of LED. The efficiency of this cooling module is discussed by the experiment and simulation for the realistic application. This cooling module can be used for heat removing of the high power electronic unit. 摘要  Lubricating processes, surface roll and spin coatings of a moving rotation substrate by a liquid layer are of
importance in a variety of industrial application. In practice, coating liquids often contain NonNewtonian
pseudoplastic macromolecular liquids. This is somewhat complicated than that of the Newtonian flow. In industry
applications, the quality of the final product is largely dependent on the hydrodynamic stability of the liquid film as it flows over the substrate. Flow governing equation on roll coating is solved on an orderbyorder basis by the longwave perturbation method. Normal mode method is used to analyze the flow regime and categorize the regions where the threshold amplitude exists in the linear stability. The viscosity of the macromolecular fluid appears to be lower in the higher shear rate part of the experiment. When coating a moving substrate with a thin liquid film, even macroscopic instabilities of the film system can result in a nonhomogenous film growth. The result shows the Newtonian fluid tends to stabilize the thinfilm system than that of pseudoplastic macromolecular fluid.

名稱  The Thermal Phenomena of the Supercritical CO2 in the Reservoir of the Enhanced Geothermal System based on Brinkman Model

摘要  The paper is to discuss the thermal phenomena of the supercritical CO2 in the geothermal reservoir for the enhanced geothermal system. The transient heat transfer model conjugated with the Brinkman model of employed by the finite element package is used to obtain the dynamic and thermal behavior in the porous medium. The different pressure of the reservoir, the various inlet volumetric flow rate are discussed. The results show that the inlet volumetric flow rate results in the temperature difference between the wall and working fluid on the exit apparently. It can be predicted that the heat extraction will increase as the volumetric flow rate decreases. In addition, the suitable operated pressure will reach the maximum heat extraction for the reason of property of supercritical CO2.

摘要  The waste heat generated by high power LEDs is hardly effectively dissipated, therefore, it results in a serious problem in the luminous efficiency. The most important issue of the LED research is to find a potential design of heat removal and solve the problem of LED overheating. The purpose of this study is to design the LEDs combined with the cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe by the experiment for the high efficiency of heat removal. The aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe is innovative proposed by our team. The high power LEDs with and without heat pipe cooling module is compared. The heat removal efficiency of the cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe reaches 77% and drops the junction temperature of LED about 36 °C. The cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe has proven to be effective in solving the heat concentration problems associated with the LED chips. In short, the phase change cooling module will apply on the electronic component of high heat concentration for more effective cooling method.

名稱  Impurity Influence of Graphene Growth on Cu Ribbon

摘要  For electronic applications, synthesis of large area, single layer grapheme with high crystallinity is required. One of the most promising and widely applied methods is chemical vapor deposition (CVD) using Cu thin film as catalysis. Howerer, the CVD grapheme is generally polycrystalline and contains a great many grain boundaries and defects. The microstructure defects occurr when the catalysis surface contains the impurities’. Grain boundary and defect limit intrinsic physical properties of graphene. In this perspective, we discuss the growth mechanism of grapheme on a Cu foil associate with different Cu purities in a range 90% to 98%. We give a comparison of the Cu catalysis film impurity effect by the observation of the domain structure of graphene. Finally, we emphasize the importance of the growth condition and impurity of the Cu catalysis for the realization of single crystalline graphene.

摘要  The purpose of this study is to obtain the heat extraction of the supercritical CO2 in the reservoir for the EGS. The heat transfer model conjugated with the Darcy’s law employed by the finite element package is used to obtain the thermal behavior in the porous medium. The sensitivity parameter study under the various inlet velocities and porosities of the porous medium are discussed. The results show that the inlet velocity is the most important effect for the heat extraction. The temperature of exit decreases as the inlet velocity increases apparently. It means that the heat extraction will increase as the velocity decreases. However, it is evident gradually as the porosity decreases. This study can enhance the heat extraction and reduce the cost of realistic test of enhanced geothermal system.

摘要  The heat transfer phenomena of supercritical carbon dioxide are experimentally investigated in a vertical tube with silicabased porous media. The experiment is conducted for the various static pressure, the flow rate, the initial wall temperature, and nonporous or porous media. The results show that the heat transfer coefficient with porous media increases as the flow rate increases. Moreover, the excellent performance is exhibited at 10 MPa because of the effects of inlet temperature. In addition, the effects of the porosity and the initial wall temperature are weak through these results. This study will provide the effective data for regarding the operating conditions of the enhanced geothermal system.

摘要  In this study heat transfer of supercritical carbon dioxide in vertical tube with 10 mm of inner diameter and
1800mm of length was investigated experimentally. The initial temperature of tube wall was set to 150 and 200℃. The system pressures of supercritical carbon dioxide are 1100, 1500 and 2000 psi, respectively. The experimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer rate increase with Reynolds number. The maximum heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer rate was occurred in 1500 psi of system pressure. The heat transfer coefficient for 150℃ is higher than that of 200℃ resulted from effect of specific heat.

摘要  The flexible surface acoustic wave (SAW) device is a promising product for the expanded application of SAW
device. The purpose of this study is to obtain the better output gain of the flexible SAW device. The parametric
modification on the fabrication of the flexible surface acoustic wave devices is processed. The ZnO solution is prepared by sol?gel technology. We design inter digital transducer (IDT) pattern and deposit ZnO solution on the flexible polyimide plastic (PI) substrate by inkjet printing process. Next, the frequency of SAW device is measured by the vector network analyzer. The effect of the thickness of ZnO film and IDT will be studied in this paper. The piezoelectricity of the film increases as the thickness of the film increases. The output gain is better as the thickness of the IDT is 500μm. This study can improve the efficiency of the SAW device and expand the application of the SAW in future.

名稱  The Electromechanical Behavior of a MicroBeam Driven by Traveling Electrostatic Force

摘要  There is no literature mentioning the electromechanical behavior of a microbeam, one of the common microstructure in micro devices, driven by traveling electrostatic forces. This paper is to present the dynamics and stabilities of a microbeam on which an electrostatic force travels to and fro. The traveling electrostatic force may be induced by a row of actuated electrodes which are arranged beneath the microbeam and actuated sequentially. The linearized distributed model considering the electromechanical coupling effect between electrostatic force and structure is derived based on the small deflection assumption. According to the analytical results, the microbeam will resonate when the traveling speeds of the electrostatic force approach some critical speeds. The critical speeds are equal to the ratio of the natural frequencies to the wave number of the correlative natural mode of the microbeam. Besides, the microbeam may be unstable at some traveling speeds differing from the critical speeds. Furthermore the unstable regions expand with increasing driving voltage. This article may lead to a new research branch on electrostaticdriven micro devices.

名稱  Fabrication of ZnO Thin Film Sensor for CO2 Monitoring

摘要  The flexible carbon dioxide sensor is a prospective technology for the extensive application of oSAW device. The purpose of this study is to optimize the crystallization of ZnO film for a carbon dioxide sensor by solgel technology and inkjet technology. The flexible CO2 sensor composes of a ZnO layer sandwiched in between a flexible sheet, IDT electrode layer, and top sensor layer. The ZnO thin film uses the solgel method and spin coating. Triethanolamine adds into ZnO solution to promote the robust of ZnO film. The IDT of the top electrode layer is nano silver by inkjet printing technology. Finally, Triethanolamine film is coated as the CO2 sensor layer. The center operating frequency of this SAW CO2 sensor is measured by the vector network analyzer. The results prove that the significant deviation of frequency resulted from the absorption of CO2 is observed. The characteristics of this CO2 sensor is thin, portable and flexible. The improvement of fabricated parameters will enhance the effect of sensing of this saw CO2 sensor in future.

名稱  Graphene Growth on Different Industrial Copper Ribbons by Chemical Vapor Deposition

摘要  In our study is investigates the graphene growth on few industrial copper ribbons. The graphene is synthesized by low pressure chemical vapor deposition. Both of the Argon and (Methane/Hydrogen) mixture are the precursors for deposition time. The surface morphology and grain growth behavior of these films are studied by SEM, AFM and OM observation. Impurities on the Cu substrate behave as the nucleation sites in the formation of carbon cluster on Cu surface. The graphene morphologies on these 4 types substrates are constituted by carbon discs in the range of 1~20 μm. Fractal geometry has been observed to study a variety of irregular films within a jigsaw of the variance grain structures. Current results verify the effect of surface impurities on the resulting graphene thin film. We suggest that a higher Cu purity substrate supports formation of larger graphene grain size.

摘要  The convection heat transfer characteristics of supercritical CO2 in a horizontal tube were investigated experimentally. The experimental parameters were supercritical pressures and volumetric flow rates. The experimental results show that the heat transfer coefficient increased with flow rate. Furthermore, the pseudocritical point had a significant influence on the heat transfer coefficient. In the study, the supercritical pressure of 10MPaconstituted an optimal operating condition for CO2EGS because of the high heat transfer performance at 200 ℃.

摘要  The energy resources of nature are limited. According to the report from the International Energy Agency (IEA), there is 19% of the energy used for illumination. Its well known that LED is an excellent choice to instead the incandescent lamp for saving energy. But the other question comes out while the high power LED is applied. There is only about 20% of the input power converts to light energy, the rest of power is convers to heat which should be carry out from the LED chips, otherwise, the high heat concentration results in a serious problem to decrease LED working. The most important issue of the LED research is to find a potential design of heat removal and solve the problem of LED overheating. The purpose of this study is to discuss the heat removal ability of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe by applying in the high power LED array. The aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe is innovative proposed by our team. The high power LEDs with and without heat pipe cooling module is compared. The heat removal efficiency of the cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe reaches 92.09% and drops the junction temperature of LED about 36 °C. The thermal resistance is discussed. The cooling module of the aluminumacetone flat plate heat pipe has proven to be effective in solving the heat concentration problems associated with the LED chips. In short, the phase change cooling module will apply on the electronic component of high heat concentration for more effective cooling method.

摘要  This purpose of this study is to investigate the heat extraction of the supercritical CO2 in the geothermal reservoir for the enhanced geothermal system. The transient heat transfer model conjugated with the model of Brinkman equation employed by the finite element package is used. The sensitivity parameter study under the various applied heat flux, porosity and pressure are done. The dynamic and thermal phenomena in the porous medium are obtained. The effects of lower pressure and higher applied heat flux will increases the heat extraction effectively. It represents that the better heat extraction will be obtained if we can combine the suitable operating conditions. Therefore, it exists an optimal condition in the applied heat flux and pressure. In addition, we observe clearly that the heat extraction decreases as the porosity increases slightly. It still illustrates that the porosity will affect the heat extraction even it is minor. This study can enhance the heat extraction and reduce the cost of realistic test of enhanced geothermal system.

摘要  It is highly desirable to high performance for homogeneous film growth can be developed in
various industrial applications. Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is the study of the interaction of electrically
conducting fluids and electromagnetic forces. In magnetohydrodynamic flows, the conducting magnetic field
and the fluid strongly interact and create complex magnetic and dynamic phenomena. In practice, the optimum
conditions can be found through the use of a system to alter stability of the film flow by an appropriate
control of the applied magnetic field. Flow governing equation on thin film flow is solved on an orderbyorder
basis by the perturbation method. Multiple scale method is used to derive the Ginzburg Landau equation, and a
filtered wave with no spatial modulation is considered to analyze the flow criteria and classify the regions where
the threshold amplitude exists. The modeling results indicate the degree of stability is increased in the film system with condensate effect. Furthermore, it is shown that by increasing the magnetic field and cylinder radius
tends to enhance the stability as traveling down along the vertical cylinder.
